My Big Fake Wedding

Hey Knoxville readers!

Have you heard about My Big Fake Wedding?

If you are engaged (or have a sister/friend who is) you won’t want to miss this! The Big Fake Wedding is a bridal show alternative in the form of a big, fake wedding.”Wedding guests” are brides- and grooms-to-be who enjoy an emotional vow renewal ceremony, a tasty dinner, and a dance-party reception while truly experiencing the wedding vendors in action. It’s basically like walking through Pinterest in real life!

The exciting news is that after hosting 30 events across the country this year, My Big Fake Wedding is coming to Knoxville for the very first time on Thursday, June 9th at 7p.m. at The Emporium Center!

The Big Fake Wedding was the first event of its kind when it was founded in 2008, creating an experiential opportunity for wedding vendors to showcase their products and services to shopping brides and grooms just as they would at a real wedding.

The event’s three main goals are: to inspire brides and grooms, to support small businesses, and to encourage solid and committed marriages. It really is a wedding experience like no other to both vendors and shopping brides and grooms across the country.

The hand-selected vendors perform their services as they would at a real wedding, and the “wedding guests” get to hear the music, taste the cakes, and smell the flowers…while enjoying a night of great food, dancing and surprises.

For brides and grooms, the event serves as a source of inspiration, a resource in finding trusted wedding vendors and an emotional reminder to plan for what come after the wedding: a marriage!
