Prayer Requests

Welcome to the Prayer Requests part of the blog! I am so excited to be able to partner with you in prayer, and I can’t wait to see how God answers our prayers. I update this page at the beginning of every month so be sure to send me your new prayer requests and praises.

  1. You can email prayer requests and praises on my Contact Page.
  2. Or leave me a comment.

Jesus has recently been moving in my heart to pray. I desperately want to see Him move in hearts and in lives. I love the post my husband, Mark, wrote on prayer. In his post he talked about George Mueller recording over 30,000 answers to prayer. I want to document God’s faithfulness like Mueller did. And maybe one day I’ll see 30,000 answers to prayer. Would you join me in praying?

  1. You or your situation will be covered in prayer by me and other readers.
  2. God is glorified when He answers our prayers, so when we submit our prayer requests to Him in order that He will be glorified, He answers us.
  3. We will be documenting God’s faithfulness as He answers our prayers.

  1. Pray according to the will of God. (The Word of God).
  2. Know who you are talking to. Pray to our good Father. He knows how to give good gifts (James 1:17; John 14:13-14).
  3. Pray with faith and believe in the power and willingness of God to answer our prayers (cf. Mark 11:24.)
  4. Pray with patience. We must be willing to patiently wait until the “yes” answer is received.

I am praying to the God who gives wisdom generously (James 1:5). I am seeking the one who disciplines me as a son (Heb. 12:7). I am praying to the God who is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrew 13:8). I am praying to the one who gives every good gift and who is the Father of lights. One in whom there is no variation or shadow due to change (James 1:17). I am offering my plea to one who of his own will brought me forth by the word of truth (James 1:18). I am praying to a God who gives me understanding through His Spirit (1 Cor. 2 12). I am coming before the Father of mercies and God of all comfort (2 Cor. 1:3). I am praying to the one who has grace that is sufficient for me, whose power is made perfect in my weakness (2 Cor. 12:9). For where I am weak He is strong (2 Cor. 12:10b). I am looking to Jesus who is the founder and perfecter of my faith, the one, who, for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising shame, and who is seated at the right hand of the throne of God (Heb. 12:2). I am praying to the God of my salvation!

One of my biggest desires is that the Gospel would go forth. I want people to know Jesus and be set free from sin. I want people to have hope and experience true joy. I want souls ransomed. I want names written in the Lamb’s book of life. So I’ll pray for salvation…

I have a prayer request for two male students who do not get along because of a girlfriend issue. One is very hostile, deceitful, and full of resentment; the other is easy going and laid back. By random drawing at the request of the class, I was forming groups for a project and they ended up in the same group. Having simply switched seats earlier to avoid the problem, I decided to see if they could address the problem and work through it this time, so I talked to them after class about whether they were willing to try to work well together. Both said that they wanted to, but history suggests that the aggressive one may make the laidback one miserable in sneaky little ways. Please pray that they could see a true spiritual breakthrough in this, and that I would have good perception and wisdom to recognize if I need to intervene. The girlfriend is in a panic about the group, and I’m pretty anxious myself.

Darlene is having surgery today at noon (3/2/12) to determine if she has cancer or not. They took 5 Liters of fluid out of her abdomen on Wednesday which showed cancerous cells. However, endometriosis cells could present as cancer cells so there is still hope that this is NOT cancer. Continue to pray for her and for peace for my family, especially my father. We are also not sure about her salvation. We were raised in the catholic church and she is catholic. My father tried to talk to her yesterday but her husband is against Christianity and you could see the struggle in my sister b/t her father and her husband.

Ashley thank you for your prayers and keeping me on your list. It means so much. It is an encouragement to see how that list changes as God breaks through. I know that He can do the ‘impossible’ and I so appreciate your prayers as I wait. Your sweet momma sent me in the direction of your prayer page and told me that I was on your list. It just blew me away. Thank you my precious sister in Christ xx

Will you please pray for me? I have someone who was once a friend but has major past struggle issues and takes his anger out very maliciously whenever anybody wrongs him no matter if it’s the truth or not. I have been attacked… faith and my character. I feel bruised and hurt because I respected this person. Please pray for healing and for change on both of our hearts. Thank you so much!

I need prayer for a special provision to attend a Christian woman’s blogging conference; for God to use my blogging to glorify Him; for specific equipment to improve my blog, camera with camcorder abilities; provision to pay off thousands in medical bills; and healing of ongoing health issues. Thanks. I will be praying for all the other requests on this site too.

I am praying and looking for prayers. I am currently 6 1/2 weeks pregnant with my fourth pregnancy. Unfortunately the first three ended in miscarriage. I am praying that this will turn out to be a healthy, happy baby as my husband and I have been looking forward to being parents since we got married in 2009. I am eternally grateful to God for blessing us with the ability to get pregnant and for the support of our friends and family. I had some complications over the weekend, but we got to see our little one who’s heart was beating strong and who was growing like he or she should be. I’m praying that this is the time we get our prayers answered to have a little one. Thank you!

Jennifer! I am praising God for this life. And I am praying to God- the author of life- that he would sustain this little one and that you would get to enjoy motherhood by holding this sweet one in your arms. I will continue to be praying for you and your baby. Keep me posted and let me know if there are any specific things you’d like me to pray for as you progress!

Please pray for me to stay calm and relax until my ultrasound on Monday 9/30 and for that ultrasound to go well. I am having a hard time dealing with worry because of some spotting that I’m having. My doctors tell me that it is usually normal, but with my past history of losing pregnancies I’m sick with worry. Please help me find the strength to continue on in a healthy way and for this little life that God blessed me with to continue to grow and thrive.

Ok! I am praying. When I was pregnant with my first son I had signs of miscarriage at 9 weeks. From that place of knowing worry and love for a baby I am praying for peace that only God can bring. Praying that these days go fast and that you will hear a healthy heartbeat on 9-30! Praying for peace and strength for your heart.

Continuing to pray for a good 8 week appointment on Thursday. Through all of this I have learned that God has a plan and we are not to question His plan, only to trust that He will guide us in the right direction and give us what we need when we need it. Praying that it is in His plan to continue to help this baby grow and thrive within me and to bless us with a little one in May!

Thank God, everything was great today! I am officially discharged from the specialist and see a regular OB/GYN next week. The little one was squirming around so much during the ultrasound, my husband kept remarking that it couldn’t sit still just like its Daddy. God is answering our prayers!

Please pray for two of our three adult children. Our son is married but separated because two years ago their week old son died from birth defects. He’s not walking with the Lord anymore.

Please pray for our daughter who is struggling with submission to authority and God. She says she’s saved but is attending a very liberal college and questioning what we have taught her.

    Thanks for the prayers!
